In preparing patent applications, we seek the broadest protection to
which our clients are entitled. Narrowly drafted patent claims may be
easier for competitors to design around and may therefore provide
limited value. Our attorneys advocate strongly before the United
States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) to obtain patent protection
that provides meaningful value to our clients.
Proactive Protection
Protecting intellectual property often requires proactive monitoring.
We assist clients in policing intellectual property rights through a
variety of approaches.

Portfolio Management
Managing an intellectual property portfolio can be complex. We assist
clients in organizing and maintaining their portfolios by identifying
offensive and defensive patents and associating intellectual property
with specific products and services.
